The Permanent Display

During November 2014, LOW PROFILE staged a series of group photographs of the people of Bath (and the surrounding areas) that were published in the local newspaper, the Bath Chronicle, throughout November and then placed on permanent display in the brand new Centre for Arts at University of Bath when it opened in February 2015. Through this project, the artists were interested in exploring and celebrating group identity, temporary allegiances and the hobbies or interests that draw people together.

You can visit the permanent display of the 18 final photographs from the Picture In The Paper project at University of Bath, who have agreed to house the collection at The Edge (a state-of-the-art aluminum clad four-storey building on the University campus) for the life of the building. The University of Bath campus is situated to the east of Bath at Claverton Down, just over a mile from the city centre. There are regular bus services from Bath or you can reach the campus on foot  (a half hour walk from the bottom of the (steep) hill).
