As the first group portrait for the project (which will run in Bath throughout 2014), LOW PROFILE felt it was important to record the group of people drawn together through the shared effort of building the centre which will eventually hold the permanent archive of group photographs created for Picture In The Paper.

We felt that it was important to mark the efforts of the people who physically made the new art centre possible. We were interested in the fact that most of the people working on the construction team had met for the first time by working alongside each other and may never meet again, or have a reason to return to the building they had created together. We wanted to mark a singular moment on site and gather together those who could stop working and felt happy to have their photograph taken, to mark the significance of the part they played in the building and the project.
