LOW PROFILE wanted to meet some of the personal trainers that keep the residents of Bath in shape. After sending out a few emails Yummy Mummies were more than happy to have Hannah and Rachel come visit to talk about what they do and who they work with.
Yummy Mummies is a small team consisting of Claire Watson, Amelia Rolfe and Kate Pearce. Claire set up Yummy Mummies and it must have been great because Amelia made the jump from customer to personal trainer. It was in her converted garage, now a Yummy Mummies training space, that they all met to talk Bath, Picture in the Paper and Yummy Mummies.
They take an innovative and personal approach to training, based on feeling good physically and mentally. Each of the trainers juggle their work with their own young families and can relate to the struggles of motherhood be it body image or just the need to have someone to talk to about it. The one to one training sessions take place in professional yet private surroundings allowing each client to enjoy their workout, which sometimes they think can be hard in a busy gym.
Claire, Amelia and Kate were all very passionate about what they do and not just the fitness aspects. They were proud of the connection they make with each customer and how being mothers, pregnant or female created a special bond with each one.
