Picture in the Paper was a participatory project exploring and celebrating group identity and temporary allegiances.
During the summer of 2014, LOW PROFILE staged a campaign to uncover the many different types of groups in Bath, from those joined together through shared hobbies, professions, interests and need. Over 70 suggestions came from the public, celebrating the passions of the people of Bath.
Twenty groups were selected and brought together for professional photo shoots at the Bath Royal Literary and Scientific Institution. Each photograph was subsequently published in the local newspaper, The Bath Chronicle, prior to being placed on permanent public display at The Edge, University of Bath.
