Definition: Individuals based in Bath working professionally as a nurse.
Reasons for selecting: At a point when the future of our health care service in the UK is unclear, we are keen to mark a moment where the many nurses operating out of Bath are recognised for their hard work, care and contribution to the community. We would like to celebrate the diversity of people involved in the profession and the difference they make to their patients’ lives.
As part of their project ‘Picture in the Paper’, artists LOW PROFILE searched for all of the people in Bath working professionally as nurses to make a professional photographic portrait of as many people in this group as possible.
PHOTO SHOOT DATE: 9th November 2014
TIME: 15:00 – 16:15
LOCATION: BRLSI, 16-18 Queen Square, Bath, BA1 2HN
The nurses portrait was one of 18 group photographs taken in November 2014, before being published in the Bath Chronicle and then put on permanent public display, in the new Centre for the Arts at the University of Bath when it opened in February 2015.
